Turkey à la King waffles

Serves: 2 servings
- Waffles
- 1 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoons sugar
- ½ tablespoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ tsp each sage, thyme and black pepper
- 1 cup milk
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 large egg
- Turkey mixture
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- milk to taste (approx ¼ to ½ can)
- leftover turkey, chopped
- leftover stuffing and veggies, as desired
- ¼-1/2 cup frozen peas
- Waffles
- Place ingredients in a large mixing bowl and combine until well blended and smooth. Let batter sit 5 minutes before using.
- If you don't have a waffle iron, you can use a griddle pan on the stovetop.
- Turkey mixture
- Add soup and milk to a small saucepan and stir until you get a smooth, sauce consistency
- Add turkey and veggies and season to taste
- Heat over medium heat until bubbling.
- Serve.
