This was one of the first treats I remember helping Mum with as a child in the lead up to Christmas.
Salted caramel brioche buns, chocolate mug cake, mint chocolate slice, blender chocolate mousse…that’s all in one week folks. That’s right, winter’s here, and I’m on a kitchen rampage.
Over the last year or so I have put the blog on the shelf for many reasons–for friend-making, for exploring, for love–but absolutely not for anything to do with my feelings about food.
In fact, some of my most treasured new friends love and respect food just as much as I do.
I can tell it’s happening when I feel hungry 1 hour after a delicious, satisfying meal.

What a great weekend! Bright, sunny skies, warm air, everyone outside to enjoy the blooming lilac trees…it feels like Spring has finally sprung! After a beautiful weekend like this, you would think I’d turn to something festive, like summer barbeque and cold beers for supper.
